Most of the beaches are on the southeast side of the island protected by the summer winds. Access to these is very good and at several of them you will find something to eat.
In the north western end of the island is more secluded beaches and the access to them is more difficult whether from dirt roads or only from the sea.
But all have unique charm depending on weather, mood and the time of day you visit.
Votsi, Steni Vala, Kalamakia, Chrisi Milia, Mikros & Megaos Mourtias, Vrisitsa, Kokkinokastro, Marpounta, Agios Dimitrios and Giorgi Yialos are some of the island's beaches.
